What is the extra morning magic at Disney?

Morning Extra Magic Hours allow Disney resort guests into the theme parks an hour before everyone else. That gets you into the park as early as 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m., depending on the time of year and the park.

In 2026, the concept previously known as "Extra Magic Hours" or "Extra Morning Magic" has evolved into two distinct offerings: Early Theme Park Entry and Disney After Hours. Early Theme Park Entry is a daily benefit for all guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels, allowing them to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before the general public every single day. This is highly valued for getting a head start on "headliner" attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage or Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. For those looking for an even more exclusive experience, Disney After Hours is a separate, ticketed event held on select nights (including dates throughout 2026). These events occur after the park closes to the general public, typically from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and feature extremely low wait times, included snacks (like popcorn and ice cream), and a limited-capacity environment. While "Extra Morning Magic" as a specific paid breakfast event has mostly been retired, the "Early Entry" benefit for resort guests remains the gold standard for morning strategizing in the parks.
