Millennium Park is a portion of the 319-acre (129.1 ha) Grant Park, known as the front lawn of downtown Chicago, and has four major artistic highlights: the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Cloud Gate, the Crown Fountain, and the Lurie Garden.
Perhaps the smallest park in the District, Park No.474 is 0.01 acres and it is located in the Douglas community. Known for its sculpture, Man on a Bench, this small park is located on the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). Man on a Bench is a sculpture by George Segal that was created in 1986.
There is no admission fee to enter Navy Pier. Attractions and public shows within Navy Pier may have admission prices, and current pricing can be obtained from each individual attraction's box office or website.
Central Park, New YorkPossibly one of the most famous parks in the world, Central Park ranks alongside the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty as a symbol of New York City. Not only was Central park the first public park in America, but it's also the most visited – with over 25-million visitors each year.
Lincoln park is situated just a short drive north from downtown area, by the lake. It's a huge space which features many walking and cycling paths, but the biggest attraction is its well maintained and free Zoo. From many places in the park there are great views of northern Chicago skyline. Love it!
