What is the food for fines in UGA?

SGA is partnering with transportation and parking services at the university, and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, for a new initiative called Food for Fines. The program will allow UGA students, faculty and staff members to get their most recent parking ticket waived or refunded if they donate canned goods.

There is no free parking on the main campus or The Health Sciences Campus during weekday operating hours. All areas require a permit or a pass to park. Visitors and those with no permit may pay to park in a visitor deck or ParkMobile lot. Some areas are not enforced during evenings, nights, and weekends.

Disputing Parking Tickets in Georgia Disputes for parking tickets must be made within 14 days from the date of the ticket. A copy of the ticket must accompany the dispute form.
