What is the have fun in Kansai Pass?

The Have Fun in Kansai Pass is an attraction pass that gives you access and exclusive discounts to three or six attractions and or participating establishments – sort of like a “multiple attraction pass”.

The "Have Fun in Kansai Pass" is a popular digital multi-attraction e-ticket designed for travelers exploring the Kansai region of Japan, which includes Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. Unlike a traditional rail pass that covers transportation, this pass focuses on experiences, dining, and smaller entry fees. It typically allows you to choose three or six activities from a curated list of around 20-30 options within a 7-day period. Popular inclusions in 2026 include the Harukas 300 Observatory in Osaka, the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway, various gourmet meal vouchers (like takoyaki or ramen sets), and even 1,000 yen coupons for specific shopping malls or "Wonder Loop" bus tours. It is an excellent supplement to a JR Pass or an IC card, providing significant savings (often up to 50%) for those who plan to visit multiple landmarks. The pass is entirely mobile-based; you simply show a QR code at the participating facility to redeem your chosen "fun" activity. It is particularly popular for "day-trippers" who want to hit the highlights of Osaka and Kobe without managing individual ticket purchases.
