What is the history of Kusadasi?

Kusadasi in Ancient Times The first known inhabitants of the area were the Leleges, a pre-Greek tribe. The city was later conquered by the Persians, and it became part of the Kingdom of Lydia in the 6th century BCE. During this time, Kusadasi became an important port city and trade center.
