What is the least scary ride at Alton Towers?

Air and th13teen are probably the least scary, if you are scared of going upside down then air should help with that somewhat as its just like laying on your back! For a stress-free experience in 2026, the brand-new Bluey Ride in CBeebies Land is officially the least scary attraction at Alton Towers. Opening in Spring 2026, it replaces the old Postman Pat ride and is specifically designed as a "My First Coaster" for young children and families. It features very gentle dips and slow twists rather than intense drops or inversions. If you are looking for something even calmer, the In The Night Garden Magical Boat Ride is a slow-moving water journey through a themed forest, or the Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure offers a gentle overhead track view of CBeebies Land. These rides provide all the "magic" of a theme park without any of the adrenaline or height-related fear associated with the park's famous "Big Seven" roller coasters.

Begin with a coaster that you are completely comfortable with so that you will have success. Ride that one a few times before stepping up to a slightly scarier version. If your phobia is not severe, you may be able to slowly work up to riding even the biggest and scariest coasters.
