What is the new lounge at LAX?

The Sky Club at Los Angeles International Airport is particularly luxe. Delta's new 30,000-square-foot Sky Club at LAX opened in April 2022 as part of the carrier's Sky Way project that connected Terminal 3 to the airport's international terminal — replacing the tedious bus that previously connected the two.



The most significant "new" lounge opening at LAX in 2026 is the Korean Air Flagship Lounge, which officially debuted on March 6, 2026, in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). This massive, 18,000-square-foot facility represents a $45 million investment and is the airline's largest directly operated lounge outside of Seoul. Designed by LTW Designworks, it spans two levels and features "Modern Korean Luxury" with traditional Moon Jar ceramics and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the runway. A unique feature for 2026 is the Sixth Floor First Class section, which includes private relaxation suites and a full à la carte dining room. For Prestige Class and Miler Club members on the fifth floor, there is a new "Open Kitchen" concept and a terrace balcony. This opening is a key part of Korean Air's 2026 brand transformation as it integrates with Asiana Airlines. Other 2026 updates at LAX include the expanded Delta One Lounge in Terminal 3 and a refreshed American Airlines Admirals Club featuring more locally inspired California artwork and "contactless" ordering.
