In late 2024 and throughout 2025, the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris underwent a massive transformation and was rebranded to reflect a more modern, cohesive aesthetic. While the "Disney Village" name is still used colloquially, the revitalized lakeside district has been reimagined with a focus on "timeless" French architecture and updated dining concepts. This transformation includes the replacement of older venues like Planet Hollywood with the new Rosalie (a French brasserie) and the renovation of the Disney Store. In 2026, the area is officially referred to as part of the Disney Village Transformation project, with a goal of creating a "living park" atmosphere that bridges the gap between the theme parks and the hotels. The new design moves away from the "industrial" 1990s look of Frank Gehry and toward a much greener, garden-focused layout with improved pedestrian flow and upgraded lighting, making it feel more like a high-end European shopping district than a traditional American-style neon strip.
