Rise of the Resistance can be scary at times for kids, even ones who love Star Wars. The interactions with Kylo Ren, Stormtroopers, and the First Order can be a bit intimidating. The ride itself can also be too much for some children, since some areas of the ride are dark and there is even a drop.
Fantasmic! is quintessential Disney magic, and it is not only my favorite show at Hollywood Studios, it's my favorite nighttime show in all of Walt Disney World. This is an ABSOLUTE delight and must-do for the whole family.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is still a passive ride, but it's something engrossing, immersive, and non-viscerally thrilling. From the Cast Members perfectly executing their flaws to the plotting and encounters, the tension, pacing, and suspense are also exceptional.
You can stand in the section between Pelican Landing and the Hungry Bear dining section. We recently hopped in place in front about 20 minutes before the second show. You can also sit on the steps behind that section.
At Hollywood Studios, things are a little bit backward. The worst day of the week to visit has historically been Monday! Perhaps it's because people expect the weekends to be the busiest, so they go with a weekday instead. Nonetheless, Monday wait times might be a bit higher than you'd want.
Price: Universal Studios Hollywood is more affordable. Plus you can save on combined admission with a Go Los Angeles pass. Age: Disneyland has more activities geared towards ages 2-10. Many of Universal Studios Hollywood's attractions require a minimum height of 40 or more.
Epcot is a lot more relaxed, theres a few good rides but there is the world showcase for you to explore there is also fireworks every night . I would go for HS but it would be very close. If Pixar is important definitely Hollywood Studios.
