(Updated April 11, 2023.) To bring you up to speed, TRON Lightcycle Run is now open at Magic Kingdom. The attraction is already proving to be one of the most popular rides at Walt Disney World, and is relatively unique in NOT offering a traditional standby line.
We're so frogcited about the new rides and experiences coming in 2023, including TRON Lightcycle / Run now running at Magic Kingdom, a new Minion Land now open at Universal Orlando and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT.
More grandly, Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom will become a new land “inspired by a region sometimes referred to as 'tropical Americas. '” Imagineers are exploring regions just north and south of the equator – the northern part of South America, stretching up into Central America – for inspiration.
A new nighttime spectacular called “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will debut at EPCOT on Dec. 5, 2023! “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will feature fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects and music and continue Disney's long tradition of amazing nighttime entertainment at the park.
Enjoy a full ON RIDE of TRON Lightcycle/Run- the newest ride at Walt Disney World. Located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, this high-speed coaster in the dark takes you into the grid as it launches you from 0 to 60 miles per hour!
