Norwegian Spirit (1998) Norwegian Spirit is the cruise line's oldest operating vessel. She, however, did not originally enter service as a Norwegian ship. The ship was built for Star Cruises and sailed as SuperStar Leo from 1998 until 2004, which is when she was transferred to Norwegian Cruise Line.
