Visiting as a Kew memberYou also need to bring ID, which may be requested when you enter the gardens. Young Person members will be required to show a photo ID, which includes their date of birth, every time they visit the Gardens.
Note: All the below groups can enter Kew Gardens for free: Under 4. Emergency service workers (with a Blue Light Card) and military personnel: Free. NHS workers will need to use the promo code to book and present their Blue Light card on arrival.
When you join at a National Trust place, you'll be given a temporary parking pass that can be displayed on the dashboard of your car. When your membership card arrives, you'll then need to start using that to get free parking.
If your membership card says '+ guest' after your name, you may bring a guest for free at our pay-to-enter places. Life members can't bring guests to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is for members only.

Please note: Parking at Kew is extremely limited, with spaces in our car park available on a first come, first served basis. Please plan ahead if you are considering driving to Kew, as we cannot guarantee available space in our car park.
Kew Gardens is the perfect place for picnics - please stick to grassy areas and don't bring barbecues or picnic furniture. No commercial activities may be undertaken in the Gardens except as part of Kew authorised events.
