What is the ride at Kings Dominion that goes backwards?

Rebel Yell,Racer 75 In 4K Backwards! Kings Dominion - YouTube. In honor of Rebel Yell getting it's name changed, I decided to "Retrack" and see what'd be like to experience this ride going backwards like it used to decades ago! But I literally mean backwards lol.

At Kings Dominion, the ride most famous for its backward-facing thrills is Racer 75 (formerly known as Rebel Yell). While it is a classic wooden "racing" coaster where two trains compete on side-by-side tracks, it gained legendary status in 1992 when the trains on one side were turned around to run backwards. This feature was a staple of the park for decades until 2008, when the trains were flipped back to face forward for safety and maintenance consistency. However, for 2026, many visitors seeking a similar "multi-directional" experience look to The Flash: Vertical Velocity, which features a high-speed launch that sends riders both forward and backward through a zero-G roll and up vertical spikes. While the "backward Racer" is a memory for veteran fans, the park’s modern lineup ensures that moving in reverse remains a key part of the thrill-seeking experience.
