What is the secret weapon 3?

Secret Weapon 3 SW3 was Nemesis, opened in 1994. It is an inverted coaster, the first of it's kind in Europe, and it opened in 1994.

"Secret Weapon 3" (SW3) is the famous development codename for Nemesis, the legendary inverted roller coaster at Alton Towers Resort in the United Kingdom. Opened in 1994, it was Europe's first inverted coaster and is widely considered one of the greatest roller coasters ever built. The "Secret Weapon" naming convention is a tradition used by Alton Towers for its major, world-first, or highly innovative thrill rides. SW1 and SW2 were prototypes for a "pipeline" coaster that were never built, making SW3 the first successful project under this mysterious branding. Designed by John Wardley and manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, Nemesis is unique for its immersive "alien" theming and its layout that is excavated deep into the ground to stay below the park's strict tree-line height restrictions. The ride features four inversions and reaches speeds of 50 mph, providing an intense, high-G experience as it "rips" through the rocky canyons of the Forbidden Valley. In 2024, the ride underwent a massive restoration and was rebranded as Nemesis Reborn, featuring an updated track and a more terrifying "eye" animatronic, ensuring that the legacy of Secret Weapon 3 continues to thrill a new generation of riders.
