What is the significance of the Gihon River in the Bible?

Gihon means formative movement. It represents the deific breath of God inspiring man and purifying his blood in the lungs. It flows through the darkened consciousness (Cush). The Gihon that was a fountain, or pool, with springs, just outside Jerusalem, indicates a bursting forth of joyous life and Truth.
