What metro line goes to Burbank?

Downtown Burbank station is served by 20 Metrolink Ventura County Line trains (ten in each direction) each weekday, running primarily at peak hours in the peak direction of travel. On weekends, four Metrolink Ventura County Line trains (two in each direction) serve the station.

Technically, the LA Metro Rail system does not have a dedicated line that enters Burbank; instead, the city is primarily served by Metrolink commuter trains and Metro buses. The most direct "rail" connection to Burbank is the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line or the Ventura County Line, both of which stop at the Burbank-Downtown Station and the Burbank Airport-South Station. If you are trying to use the LA Metro system specifically, you would typically take the B-Line (Red) subway to the North Hollywood station and then transfer to a Metro bus (such as Line 94, 154, or 224) or the BurbankBus shuttle to reach the city center. In 2026, many travelers also utilize the "Metro Micro" on-demand rideshare service for the final leg of the journey. While the lack of a direct subway line is a common point of frustration for commuters, the integrated bus and Metrolink network provides a reliable, if slightly more complex, connection to the rest of Los Angeles County.
