Be Prepared for RainIn the wet season (June through October) for Florida, it is not uncommon to see afternoon rain showers in the forecast almost every day. Make sure you are prepared for the rain, even if it is clear sunny day when you are heading out to the parks.
April receives the least amount of rain on average. The high temperatures range from 75-85 degrees, which is perfect for walking around the theme parks or taking a dip in the pool. October and November also offer comfortable temperatures. However, hurricane season runs through the end of November.

Some parks are better to visit on rainy days than others. At EPCOT, the only attraction that would close due to weather is Test Track. Most of the other rides — along with plenty of restaurants and shops — are located in Future World and are relatively close together so you wouldn't have to walk far in the rain.
What is this? The show must go on, and even when it is rainy, Disney World is open. Now, of course if Disney does happen to close for a weather event (like a hurricane) they will issue refunds then. But, if it is just a rainy day at Disney, the parks will remain open and no rain checks or refunds will be given.
Weather in September at Disney World?During September, the temperatures will range from lows in the mid-70s to highs in the upper 80s. The rain chances decrease slightly, but September still sees on average over 6 inches of rain per year.
Disney World Weather in JulyWhile the rain might not last long, July still sees some of the heaviest rain all year with an average of 7 inches for the month of July. The good news is that most summer rainstorms move in and out quickly within an hour so it usually won't impact your days at the parks too much.
In general the best days of the week to visit the Disney World parks are Tuesday and Wednesday. The reason being is many families find that you need an entire week for a Disney vacation and typically arrive on Saturday or Sunday. We find weekends and Monday to be the busiest days at Walt Disney World.
In addition to all of those, keep in mind that the weekends are almost always busier than the weekdays, with mid-week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) being less crowded than Mondays and Fridays.
The cheapest time to visit Disneyland falls around non-holiday months and periods when school is in session. Specifically, this is after the holiday season, starting in the middle of January through the end of February — before California schools' spring break months in March and April.
As happens every year around this time, crowds are starting to fall before Fall 2023 at Walt Disney World. This wait times report covers data for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
This makes the September/October 2023 a good time to visit. Even once Moana is open, we're actually expecting Walt Disney World to be relatively stable until “late 2024” when Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens. We expect TRON to keeps its virtual queue at least through the end of 2023.
Most Common Trip Length – 4 or 5 Days: This trip length works well for most people because you can visit all four Disney World theme parks, even possibly enjoy a second day at a favorite park, and it fits within most people's work vacation limits.
