What months can you swim in Disney?

I am happy to let you know that all of the Disney Resort hotel pools are open year round. The only times they close is if they are scheduled for refurbishment, if there is lightning in the area or if it an extremely cold day and in that case, the Disney Water Parks close as well.

The good news is that the pools across the resort are heated. In addition, one of Disney's 2 water parks is also typically open in February. The beginning of the month might be a bit chilly, but guests from colder climates report that swimming in February isn't bad at all, especially the further into the month you go.

You are welcome to bring small swim floats, pool noodles, swim rings, or other similar pool toys for your little ones. The point to remember is that they do need to be small. The lifeguards at the Resort pools are very focused on safety and they do need to be able to see all the fins flipping around underwater.
