The darkness makes it seem even more like a place that's separate from anything outside its boundaries and sparkling lights give it a cheery twinkle. The place is so different—and so magical—after dark that it's well worth your efforts to manage your energy so you can stay into the night, at least for a few hours.
Other Disney World Attractions at NightRides like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Splash Mountain, The Barnstormer, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Walt Disney World Railroad in the Magic Kingdom all have a different feel to them at night.
Get There Early to Avoid the CrowdsAs you can imagine, that means the wait times will likely be over an hour and the park will be shoulder-to-shoulder with other visitors. For an enjoyable Disneyland vacation, get to the park as soon as it opens at 8 am to enjoy empty rides and no wait times.

When Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park closes and the evening party begins, discover plenty to see and do. Listen to live performances and celebrated curated tunes into the night.Ride select attractions throughout the night—usually with shorter wait times.
On your own, there's no need to rush from ride to ride. You can truly treat Disneyland as a park. It's a sensation I encourage every fan to experience. Today, alone is often my preferred way to visit the park.
Sweethearts' Nite is a Disneyland After Dark event that has been held in past years. While we don't know yet whether or not it will be offered in 2024, this special event has typically been announced around mid-December.
Disneyland is great for kids over the age of 7.So if you have 4 kids, 2 of which are under 7, you may have to watch which rides you can do. For my family, this meant that my oldest two (ages 9 and 10) could ride rides together while an adult rode with the younger kids (ages 2, 4, and 6).
More than once I thought, “How can I arrange to let my wife, son, daughter and granddaughter at least have a look at this incredible place?” And then… I got the opportunity to actually stay there with them overnight! The Disneyland Dream Suite, as you may know, is located upstairs from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Once you have purchased theme park admission to a Walt Disney World theme park, the attractions are included. Once you have entered a Walt Disney World theme park, you can enjoy as many attractions as you want to as many times as you want to! There is no need to purchase separate tickets for attractions.
For those with short trips, Disney After Hours is an excellent way to make the most of your time in the park, since you'll be able to get so much done in a short amount of time. So, if you're looking for a truly special and unforgettable Disney experience, we highly recommend giving Disney After Hours a try.
Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages into the parks for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors. Inform a Security Cast Member of any food items when you enter the park.
