For your visit in late February 2026, the most significant closure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is the Jurassic Park River Adventure, which is currently undergoing a massive, multi-month refurbishment and is not expected to reopen until late fall 2026. Additionally, the Hogwarts Express, which connects Hogsmeade to Diagon Alley, is scheduled for a temporary maintenance closure from February 9 through February 23, 2026. During this time, guests with park-to-park tickets must walk between the two theme parks via CityWalk. While most other headliners like VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure remain operational, it is always a "best practice" to check the official Universal Orlando app on the morning of your visit, as short-term technical closures or weather-related delays (especially for water rides like Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges) can occur without much prior notice.
