  • Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey's single rider line offers a brief tours of Hogwarts compared to the standby line.

As of 2026, Universal Studios Hollywood offers Single Rider lines at several of its most popular attractions to help solo guests (or groups willing to split up) bypass long wait times. The current list of attractions typically offering this service includes Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge in Super Nintendo World, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, Jurassic World — The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy — The Ride, and TRANSFORMERS™: The Ride-3D. Occasionally, The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash and The Simpsons Ride may offer a single rider option depending on the day's crowd levels and staffing. It is important to note that Single Rider lines are "subject to availability" and can be closed at any time by the attraction operators. While you will likely save a significant amount of time, you skip most of the "story" elements found in the main themed queues (like the pre-shows in Mario Kart or the halls of Hogwarts), and you will definitely be seated with strangers to fill empty spots in the ride vehicles.
