If you're arriving at Heathrow via public transport, including mainline train, tube or the Heathrow Express, you can still enjoy a fast transfer through the private security channel at the Upper Class Wing. You'll check in at Zone A in the main T3 area, then take the lift up to the Upper Class Wing.

Virgin Atlantic recommends you arrive at the airport 2-3 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. The cut-off time for checking in and checking baggage is 60 minutes before departure time.
If you've saved enough Virgin Points and there is availability in the higher cabin (Premium or Upper Class), the flight can be upgraded*. So if you've already made your booking on a reward flight, unfortunately you cannot upgrade.
The main differences between Upper Class and Premium are that Upper Class has lie-flat seats, multi-course meals, pajamas, extra checked and carry-on baggage, and access to a social space onboard, plus lounge access on the ground.

If you've made an Upper Class reward booking with Virgin points it doesn't come with complimentary ground transfers, but you can add a chauffeur car to any destination in the UK or US within 75 driven miles from the airport with Virgin points.
