What time can you join the virtual queue for World of Color?

Make sure your tickets are also linked. Distribution for the complimentary Virtual Queue will begin at 12:00 PM noon, daily (subject to availability), and is available for guests who have entered Disney California Adventure park for the day OR have entered Disneyland park with a Park Hopper ticket.

For the 7am queue, you need a park reservation for the theme park in which the attraction is located. You do not have to physically be in the theme park. For the 1pm queue, you have to scan into the tapstiles at Magic Kingdom for TRON or EPCOT for Guardians, so having a theme park reservation helps you get first dibs.

The further back you go, the less immersed in the show you'll feel. However, on the plus side, you will be able to see the projections better. In fact, I think the optimal view of the projections is actually all the way back outside of Paradise Park, with your back almost against the Little Mermaid dark ride building.

Well, if you have successfully joined a Disney virtual queue you will receive a boarding group number. Once Disney is ready for your boarding group to go and enter the attraction they will send you a notification. At that point you will have an hour window to go and scan in using the My Disney Experience app.
