What time does park hopping start?

How It Works. Guests who purchased a ticket or Annual Pass with the Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day. We will set specific Park Hopper hours during which this option is available. Park Hopper hours will start at 2 PM each day and end at the park's scheduled close time.

In a major move for 2026, all time-based park hopping restrictions have been removed at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Previously, guests had to wait until 2:00 PM (at Disney World) or 11:00 AM (at Disneyland) to move to a second park. Now, as long as you have a ticket with the Park Hopper option and have entered your first "reserved" park of the day, you can hop to any other park at any time during operating hours. For example, you could ride Space Mountain at 9:00 AM and be in EPCOT for an 11:00 AM lunch. It is important to note that you must still make a theme park reservation for your first park of the day and physically scan into that park before your hopper benefit activates. This change has restored a massive amount of spontaneity to the Disney experience, allowing guests to pivot their plans based on live wait times or weather conditions without being tethered to a midday clock-out time.
