What time is the parade at Universal Japan?

The parade will run once daily at 2:00 pm for about 50 minutes at Universal Studios Japan. You can join the Special Viewing Area in Gramercy Park starting at 1,300 yen, for a better view. You can also purchase a bubble wand that you can use to blow bubbles as you go along the parade.

USJ usually opens between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and closes between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. depending on the season. It's recommended that you turn up to the park at least an hour beforehand to pick up your tickets on the day in order to avoid queuing.

If you have the Express Pass, you can easily get everything done in a single day. I recommend buying the Express Pass to maximize your one day at the park (it's doable without, but more on that later). I'd only recommend two days (or 1.5 days) if you are visiting during a busy period.

Wear comfy clothes and shoes and take a backpack. Wear sun-screen, take a hat (take it off during the rides), snacks or rice-balls (to munch in secret) and a light water-proof poncho (for the Jurassic Park ride). Personally, I wouldn't worry about water as there are drinking fountains everywhere.

If you're tight for time during your Japan stay, you can go for the 1-day express. My friend and I did a lot in 1-day without express (8:30-20:00), but it is impossible to do all of it without express. However, the reason I recommend 2-days is because, for me personally, my time in USJ felt like a lifetime.

The most common (and key) question about the Express Pass is - is it worth buying? In short: Yes. Whilst you can access all the rides in the park with a regular Studio Pass, you're likely to be doing a LOT of queuing. If you only want to be sure to try 2 or 3 rides then that will be fine with just the Studio Pass.

As you can guess if Saturday and Monday tend to be the busiest, Tuesday tends to be the best day to visit Universal Studios Orlando. We also find Thursday to be one of the least busy days of the week at Universal Studios, with Sunday being a great weekend option.
