Plan to Arrive at Zion as Early in the Morning as Possible Especially if you're visiting during peak summer season or during a holiday weekend. Zion Hikes From the Visitor Center While the Watchman Trail has you winding through the canyons to the final panoramic viewpoint of lower Zion Canyon and the town of Springdale. George Shuttle provides transportation from Las Vegas to St George, and from St George to Zion. So if you don't rent a car, you'll need to take a shuttle to St George and stay there.
