Along the Side of the CastleOur Number One favorite spot to watch parades at Disneyland is along the side of Sleeping Beauty Castle, before the Alice in Wonderland restrooms. This spot is ideal because it has the best of both worlds: benches and brickside seats.
The new wrinkle is that Disney Enchantment now has a second showtime each night, with a nightly performance of the fireworks at 11 pm. This is in addition to the 9:20 pm showtime, which remains on the schedule and doesn't move (because it can't really be moved forward–ask as meteorologist or astronomer as to why.
In general the best days of the week to visit the Disney World parks are Tuesday and Wednesday. The reason being is many families find that you need an entire week for a Disney vacation and typically arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Instead of seeing Tinkerbell fly over the park as part of the evening fireworks, we're about to get Baymax. Wondrous Journeys is the name of the brand new nighttime spectacular that will begin at Disneyland park on January 27, 2023. Today we learned a bit more about what the show will entail.

The route begins in Frontierland and runs through Liberty Square and down Main Street USA. Main Street is the most crowded viewing location, but it is often preferred by guests because of Cinderella Castle. Most anywhere along the parade route provides a good view of the parade.
On Sunday, Disney published a recording of the new Magic Happens parade, which debuted at Disneyland in February. The eight-minute performance is free to watch, and can be found on the Disney Parks YouTube channel.

Firework shows happen nightly EXCEPT on nights when the park closes early (like for Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or for select events like Cast Member appreciation nights). There really aren't any spots to eat and watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.
