Disney's official policy is that it does not offer refunds for rain. What is this? The show must go on, and even when it is rainy, Disney World is open. Now, of course if Disney does happen to close for a weather event (like a hurricane) they will issue refunds then.
Objectively, the best days to visit Animal Kingdom are weekdays. Across the board, average daily wait times are lower Monday through Friday than they are Saturday or Sunday.

The End Is HERE — Splash Mountain Has PERMANENTLY CLOSED in Disneyland. Splash Mountain is permanently closing in Disneyland (and has already closed in Disney World) to make room for a new attraction called Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Over in Florida, construction on this ride transformation is already underway.
Disney has confirmed that Splash Mountain will officially close in Disneyland on May 31st, 2023. That means the last day to ride the attraction will be on May 30th.
Disney's Splash Mountain was inspired by the 1946 film Song of the South and opened in 1989 and 1992 at Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom respectively. However, the ride is now being permanently replaced at both the locations.
