When can you book Disney character breakfast?

Reservations can currently be made up to 60 days in advance, which you can do on the Walt Disney World website. As with all table service meals, to book a character meal, you must provide Disney with a credit card number.

For a Walt Disney World character breakfast in 2026, the standard booking window opens 60 days in advance at approximately 6:00 AM EST. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you have a significant advantage: you can book for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting 60 days before your check-in date, effectively giving you an "80-day" window for the later part of your trip. Popular spots like Chef Mickey’s or Topolino’s Terrace often fill up within minutes of the window opening. At international parks like Tokyo Disney Resort, the rules differ; for example, guests at the Disney Ambassador Hotel can book character breakfasts from 10:00 AM one month before their visit. In 2026, it is highly recommended to use the "My Disney Experience" app to secure these reservations, as "walk-up" availability for character dining is virtually non-existent due to the high demand for "Free Dining" packages that Disney re-introduced for the 2026 season.
