When can you buy your second individual lightning lane?

It's important to note that guests can only buy the second individual lightning lane reservation after the first one has been used for the day.



In 2026, under the Lightning Lane Single Pass (formerly Individual Lightning Lane) rules at Disney World, you can purchase and book up to two different top-tier attractions per day. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase both of your selections as early as 7:00 AM, seven days before your check-in date for your entire stay. For all other guests, the booking window opens three days before their park visit. A "High-Fidelity" detail to remember is that you can purchase your second Single Pass immediately after the first one; there is no "wait time" or requirement to use the first one before buying the second. You can even book them for two different parks if you have a Park Hopper ticket. However, you cannot buy a Single Pass for the same ride twice in one day. These passes are separate from the "Multi Pass" system, so you can hold your two Single Pass selections alongside your three pre-booked Multi Pass attractions, giving you a total of five pre-planned "skip-the-line" opportunities before you even enter the park.

One possibility is that the company has found the “sweet spot” for pricing during popular tourist seasons, and it's $35. Another is that price points have been “reset” and $35 is now the baseline for busier days, with the number only going higher when we enter the next big holiday season.

The 120-minute rule is determined by when you make the reservation, not the return time for the attraction.
