When can you purchase Lightning Lane at Disney? Guests of a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels may make their first purchase at 7:00 AM on the day of their park visit. This includes Guests of Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Shades of Green Resort. All other Guests may make their first purchase when the park opens.

At all crowd levels, Flight of Passage sells out first. And Cosmic Rewind has worse availability than Rise of the Resistance on low and medium crowd days too. We also see many more availability “drops” throughout the day for Individual Lightning Lane attractions that we do for Genie+ attractions.


Is Genie Plus unlimited rides?

You can only use Genie+ on each attraction one time per day. So, if you book an early morning pass for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, use it, and then want to ride Thunder Mountain again later in the day…you'll need to wait in the standby line. So keep that in mind during your trip!
