When did Emirates start flying to Montreal?

Emirates announced today that flights will indeed begin on July 5, 2023 and that booking is now available.

Emirates officially inaugurated its daily non-stop service between Dubai International (DXB) and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) on July 5, 2023. This marked the airline's second gateway in Canada, following its established route to Toronto. The flight was launched to meet the high demand for travel between the Middle East and Quebec’s cultural and economic hub. Initially operated using a Boeing 777-300ER, the route was a strategic expansion for Emirates in North America, providing vital connections for the large Lebanese, Indian, and North African communities in Montreal. In early 2026, Emirates further upgraded the experience on this route by deploying its brand-new Airbus A350 aircraft, making Montreal the first destination in the Americas to feature the airline's latest cabin interiors and Premium Economy product. The flight typically departs Dubai in the early morning and arrives in Montreal the same morning, with the return leg departing Montreal in the late morning to reach Dubai the following day.
