Kenya Airways Flight 507 on May 5, 2005.
- Aircraft: Boeing 737-800
- Route: Douala, Cameroon → Nairobi, Kenya
- Circumstances: The plane crashed into a swampy forest shortly after takeoff from Douala during a storm. All 114 people on board (105 passengers and 9 crew) perished.
- Cause: The official investigation concluded the crash was due to spatial disorientation of the crew after a failure to properly follow instrument procedures during a nighttime takeoff in stormy weather. The crew failed to recognize that the aircraft was banking and turning until it was too late.
