When did Magic Kingdom become a dry park?

Magic Kingdom was a dry park from when it opened in 1971 until 2012 when guests were finally able to purchase alcohol at a single restaurant, Be Our Guest. It wasn't until 2016 when some additional restaurants finally started serving beer and wine – Tony's Town Square Restaurant, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd.

To keep with Walt's vision, Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 with no alcohol offerings. This all changed, however, in 2012 when Magic Kingdom's new Fantasyland portion of the Park opened.
