The first rise came into force on April 1 2023. Currently, those in hotels and apartments up to four stars pay €5.50 a night.This goes up to €6.25 for those in five star hotels. Housing for tourist use, such as Airbnb are charged €5 a night with other, lower-ranked establishments costing €3.75 a night.
When you book a holiday to Morocco with TUI or First Choice, the tourist tax is included in the price of your holiday. You won't need to pay a tourist tax whilst you're away.
If you visit Mallorca as a tourist, a visa is not needed for short trips. You can stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period. However, if you are also visiting other EU countries, you will need to check that you do not spend more than 90 days in total across all the countries you visit, in any given 180-day period.
