Where can I use my National Trust card?

Your National Trust membership card allows you free entry to over 500 places in our care. All memberships except junior memberships entitle you to free parking at most National Trust car parks. You can also visit places cared for by the National Trust for Scotland and organisations in countries around the world.

If your membership card says '+ guest' after your name, you may bring a guest for free at our pay-to-enter places. Life members can't bring guests to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is for members only.

Tickets to the castle and/or garden still have to be purchased or booked with a valid National Trust membership and are subject to availability. A Mount Memories Pass provides free access to the castle and garden as well as the village and harbour.

When you join at a National Trust place, you'll be given a temporary parking pass that can be displayed on the dashboard of your car. When your membership card arrives, you'll then need to start using that to get free parking.
