Lake Louisa State Park You and your pooch are invited to explore 20 miles of unpaved trails and a half-mile nature trail at the Lake Louisa parking lot. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash under six feet. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the lake.

For 2026 travelers, remember that there is a nightly pet fee (ranging from $50 to $75 depending on the resort tier) and a limit of two dogs per room. You must also provide proof of current vaccinations and ensure your dog remains on a leash at all times when outside of your guest room.
