Where did they film the desert scene in Star Wars?

In Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) we meet heroine Rey (Daisy Ridley) on the desert planet of Jakku. These scenes were filmed in the Rub' al Khali desert in Abu Dhabi.
