Where do I park when going to Magic Kingdom?

With the exception of the Magic Kingdom, all of the Walt Disney World parking is outside the main entrance to the theme park. At the Magic Kingdom, the lot is located at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once you park here, you will need to take either the Monorail or the Ferry to the Magic Kingdom.

When driving to the Magic Kingdom, you do not park at the park entrance itself; instead, you must park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). Upon arrival at the Walt Disney World Auto Plaza, you will pay for parking—standard parking for a car or motorcycle in 2026 is $35 per day, while "Preferred Parking" closer to the front ranges from $50 to $60. Once parked in the massive lots (named after Disney heroes and villains like Simba, Zurg, or Mulan), you can take a courtesy tram to the TTC main plaza. From the TTC, you have three distinct options to reach the Magic Kingdom gate: the Express Monorail, the Resort Monorail, or the Ferryboat. The Ferryboat is often recommended for its scenic views and high capacity, while the Monorail is the classic, faster "futuristic" choice. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels receive complimentary standard parking at the TTC, and those with "Preferred" status can save significant time during the park's opening and closing rushes by being within walking distance of the monorail and ferry stations.
