Your allowance includes two items of luggage (max.75 x 53 x 30 cm) and one item of hand luggage. Any excess luggage must be transported in a case that's no longer than two metres, and may come with a charge of €30 per case. There's no weight limit, but you should be able to carry all your luggage.
There are luggage racks at the ends of each car for large luggage pieces, and smaller hand luggage and backpacker packs easily fit in the overhead racks above the seating. As the overhead luggage racks are the easier option, don't underestimate the weight of your luggage.

You + Two Bags = No Extra ChargeWhen you travel with us, you can carry-on two free pieces of luggage. Each item should not exceed 50 lbs. (23 kg) and needs to be 28 x 22 x 14 inches in size.
When departing from a station with trainside checked baggage service, you'll need to tag your luggage with a baggage tag for your destination city and walk your luggage to the baggage car.
Labelling your bags is mandatory on all Eurostar and French trains, so you should affix a label that includes the passenger's full name. Paper labels can normally be found at large stations (e.g. Eurostar terminals) but we recommend purchasing something more sturdy that will last more than one trip.
We appreciate that passengers often want to bring a few bottles back from their trip and we are happy for customers to bring unopened bottles of alcohol to take on to their destination.

Put your bags where you can see them from your seat, ideally on the racks directly above your head or on floor-standing racks inside the seating area close to your seat. Overhead racks usually take bags up to the size of backpacks or medium suitcases.
Can I take food on board? Absolutely. You can bring your own food on European and London routes. And unlike in the sky, we won't restrict you with stifling rules on liquids.
