Expect to share your experience with other tourists – most days, several boats stop at Pig Beach at the same time. If you want the pigs all to yourself, you'll have to pay for a private tour. Expect to be in or on the water pretty much all day.

Pig Beach or Big Major Cay is located approximately 77 miles away from Nassau. Making it a long journey for travelers, but worth every minute and perfect for a day trip. The journey to Pig Beach will be either a 3-hour boat ride (don't recommend) or a 30-minute flight (highly recommend).

Booking/Getting There The full price for this excursion on our cruise was $109, and it did appear to sell out closer to the cruise. I recommend booking early and watching the Cruise Planner sales for a better price.

One of the girls that was staying at the Yacht Club said, that when she was walking away from one of the pigs, one bit her on the but cheek . Be careful of the baby pigs, the moms are very protective. As you will see from my pictures they are huge too. We also seen a stingray at the beach while we were there.
