Where do the ferries leave from Split?

Split ferry port is located on the Croatian mainland. Ferry routes to and from Split are currently served by 8 companies: Jadrolinija, Kapetan Luka, TP Line, Bura Line, Krilo Shipping Company, Adriatic Fast Ferries, Snav and ENVIRA Sibenik, going to 26 destinations.

In 2026, the primary departure point for all ferries and catamarans in Split is the Split Ferry Port (Gat sv. Duje). This bustling maritime hub is located directly in the heart of the city, just a five-minute walk from the historic Diocletian’s Palace and adjacent to the main bus and train stations. The port is organized by specific piers: car ferries operated by the national carrier Jadrolinija typically depart from the main large piers (Gat sv. Duje), while high-speed catamarans to islands like Hvar and Vis often use the inner berths. For those traveling internationally, such as on the overnight ferry to Ancona, Italy, the departure point is the international terminal located on the southern side of the port. It is highly recommended to arrive at least 45 minutes early for foot passengers and 90–120 minutes early if you are boarding with a vehicle, as the surrounding traffic in the "Zvonimirova" street area can be notoriously congested during the peak summer months.
