If you are arriving on an international flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), you will go through Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal (Concourse F). Even if your plane lands at Concourse E, you will follow the signs through a secure underground walkway to the main Arrivals Hall in Concourse F. This is a "one-stop" process where you first go through Passport Control (using Global Entry, MPC app, or standard lanes), then collect your checked luggage from the international carousels, and finally walk through the Customs exit. If Atlanta is your final destination, you exit directly to the terminal's ground transport. If you have a connecting domestic flight, you must re-check your bags at the designated transfer counters immediately after exiting the customs area and then go through a TSA security screening before taking the "Plane Train" to your domestic concourse.
