Follow the signs to Liberty State Park/Ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Parking: Parking is available at Liberty State Park for a fee. Accessible Parking to get to the ferry: Designated spots for those with official placards are available. There are level walkways to the ferry boarding area.
Getting to the ParkAdmission is free, and there are several parking lots. Most of the lots have free parking, but one lot charges a fee. This lot is intended for visitors who plan to take the ferry or park for more than two hours in the lots near the terminal.
Parking for Liberty State ParkAnyone driving to Liberty State Park in New Jersey can park for free if it's under two hours. But if you're staying longer or planning to ride the Statue Cruises ferry, the fee is $7 per car for up to 16 hours.
If you drive, the Magic Kingdom Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) parking lot opens about 2 hours before the park's official opening. After paying a fee, you're directed to a parking space, then transported by tram to the TTC, where you catch either a monorail or a ferry to the park's entrance.
The 5.5-mile loop around Liberty State Park affords precisely this opportunity. From the park headquarters, the Hudson River Walkway heads directly toward the Statue of Liberty. The Verrazano Bridge is in the distance to the south.
Taking the ferry to the Statue of Liberty is an absolute must! Not only does it offer unparalleled views and incredible experiences - it's also a great opportunity for some iconic pictures with Lady Liberty herself! Don't forget your camera – this is an experience not soon forgotten!
It's also worth noting that while the statue is visible from boats going in both directions, it is much closer to the route taken by ferries going to Staten Island. Riding the Staten Island Ferry is the best way to see the Statue of Liberty.
Stand on the port side (right side) at the back of the ferry going out to the Statue of Liberty. It will give you the best views of the city and of the statue as you approach. Book ahead of time on the Government Website, for reserved tickets and skip the security lines.

Even though you have to pay to park at your resort, onsite Walt Disney World guests do not have to pay to park at any of the theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom) or at the 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon).
At most, you can expect a 10-minute walk. The distance from the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot to the park entrance is quite a bit farther than those of the parking lots for the other three theme parks. When you visit Magic Kingdom Park, you'll park your vehicle at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
All visitors must purchase a ticket to board the ferry to Liberty and Ellis Islands. All tickets are available to purchase up to six months in advance. Grounds Tickets are available daily and can be purchased via the Statue Cruises website or in-person at the Statue Cruises ticket booths.
Without proper planning, many people end their visit much later than expected, so make sure to leave plenty of time to see everything without feeling rushed. At a minimum, you should budget two hours for the Statue of Liberty and an additional hour if you plan to visit Ellis Island as well.
