The legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf, known affectionately as "The Little Sparrow," is buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetière du Père-Lachaise) in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. This cemetery is the largest in the city and is world-renowned as the final resting place of numerous cultural icons, including Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, and Frédéric Chopin. She is buried in a family plot alongside her father, Louis-Alphonse Gassion, and her second husband, Théo Sarapo. Interestingly, she is also buried with her daughter, Marcelle, who died of meningitis at the age of two.
