Where is guest parking for Magic Kingdom?

The parking lot at Magic Kingdom is at the Ticket and Transportation Center, approximately a mile from the theme park entrance. Guests will either walk or ride a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Security and bag check for Magic Kingdom is located here.

Unlike the other three Walt Disney World theme parks, guest parking for the Magic Kingdom is located about a mile away at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). Guests drive to the auto plaza and are directed to one of two main lots: Heroes (with sections like Simba, Mulan, and Peter Pan) or Villains (with sections like Zurg, Jafar, and Scar). Once parked, you typically take a tram to the main TTC plaza. From there, you must undergo security screening and then choose between two iconic transportation methods to actually reach the park gates: the Disney Monorail or the Ferryboat. In 2026, standard parking is $30 per day, while preferred parking—which places you within a short walk of the TTC—ranges from $45 to $55. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels receive complimentary standard parking at the TTC. This unique setup is part of Walt Disney's original "Project X" vision to create a sense of transition and "arrival" into the fantasy world, keeping the sights and sounds of the real world far away from Main Street, U.S.A.
