The download code allows you to add a purchased Railcard to the Railcard app. The download code is found within the email confirmation you would have received after we have approved your Railcard application.

Please allow up to 5 working days for your Railcard application to be reviewed. Once approved, a download code will be sent to your registered email address, along with instructions on how to download your digital 16-25 Railcard.
If you have already bought a digital Railcard, you should have received a 'digital Railcard Download code' on both the purchase confirmation page and by email. Once you've got this code, go to the Railcard app, tap on the '+' button in the top left of the screen and enter your code.
If you still can't find it, please click 'Manage my account' on the website homepage to log in to your account.Once logged in, click on 'Get new Download Code' to request a new download code.
Digital 16-17 Saver is stored within the Railcard app on your smart phone or tablet, meaning there's no need to carry the physical card around with you. They can be stored on up to two devices and used quicker than plastic Railcards as they do not need to be sent in the post.
The 16-17 Saver will be valid for one year or up until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first. If you buy a Season ticket with a 16-17 Saver discount before it expires, you can continue to use it for up to 4 months after the expiry date.

In the unfortunate scenario where you lose your device, you can simply add your digital Railcard to a new device. If your Railcard is already associated to two devices, please log in to your account and you will find an option to Manage your devices for any active Railcards you own.
