The Grandfather Tree in located on Highway 101, 17 miles south of the southern entrance to Avenue of the Giants. The tree is 265 feet tall, and 24' in diameter. It is estimated to be 1,800 years old. You'll also find a gift shop featuring a wide range of redwood items and souvenirs for sale.
