Where is the Dragon Challenge located?

Universal Islands of Adventure, originally called Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and later Universal's Islands of Adventure, is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida.

The Dragon Challenge (formerly known as Dueling Dragons) is no longer located in any theme park; it is permanently closed and defunct. It was originally located in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade section of Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. The attraction consisted of two "dueling" inverted roller coasters—the Chinese Fireball (red) and the Hungarian Horntail (blue). Universal officially closed the ride on September 4, 2017, and it was subsequently demolished and scrapped. It was replaced by the high-fidelity, high-tech Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, which opened in June 2019. While fans of the original Bolliger & Mabillard coasters often miss the iconic "near-miss" dueling moments, the location now serves as the site for one of the world's most immersive and popular "story coaster" experiences.
