Your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket includes access to the park three hours before the party begins. In 2023, the party begins at 6 pm, which means if you hahave a party ticket, you can get into Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 pm. The party lasts until 11:00 pm..
Our group of 2 decided to go to the Sonoma Terrace Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party. For $89 (gratuity is included), we each received a plate of desserts, a specialty alcoholic beverage, or bottled water and sodas, and reserved seating for the Frightfully Fun Parade.
While the party officially begins at 6PM, ticketed guests can enter the park as early as 3PM. Regular park guests were still around at this time, so it felt pretty busy! Oogie Boogie Bash is completely sold out (including tonight's party), and we can definitely tell by these crowds.
Unfortunately, Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate ticketed event (and a popular one at that), so Guests without a ticket for the event will have to exit the Theme Park when it closes for the event at 6 pm even if they have a standard Theme Park ticket. I hope this was helpful!

Don't get us wrong, we absolutely love Oogie Boogie Bash. It's an incredible event that we've done every single year since it began–and several before that when the hard ticket option was Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland. And we'll do it again in 2024, too!
You can certainly purchase tickets for others in your travel party (up to 8 tickets per event date), but be aware that event tickets are non-refundable and may not be sold or transferred for commercial purposes. If you have a theme park ticket and reservation for the earlier part of the day, you are more than welcome to use Disney Genie+. When the event officially kicks off, the Disney Genie+ service ends for the day.
